It would be fun to actually try to lecture with ppt slides like that.
Apple Keynote is much easier to make the animations for each slide so that part is simple. The trick is with the projector. If you could rear-project then it will be easy to control the subject lighting but I tried moving the projector to the side and using the keystoning so it looks square on the screen. I then used a floor canister light for the uplight and then had a bendable bracket diffused 50w light to light me without bleeding onto the screen.
Now the color projects on the wall pops and the subject (me in the test) also stands out without blocking the animations.
